Brother Martin Zewe, FSC, Honored with St. John’s College High School’s ~ President’s Medal

We were so lucky to have had Br. Martin with us in the beginning of Hudson Catholic’s story. Br. Martin’s first teaching assignment was at the Hawks Nest in 1965 when he became part of the Brothers Community that also included the founding Brothers who started our school in 1964. It is wonderful that we can all look back on those early days and realize the legacy that was created by all who started at Hudson Catholic. We wish Br. Martin all the best and congratulate him on this honor by St. John’s. Today another one of the Christian Brothers who began his teaching career at the Hawks Nest, in 1966, Br. Patrick King, FSC is part of the faculty at St. John’s College High School which is also his high school alma mater. We were so lucky to be taught by teachers like Br. Martin and Br. Pat, as together we created the legacy of the “Miracle on McGinley”, Hudson Catholic.
