On Thursday, May 15th the school hosted a wonderful gathering of our Hawk Alumni Family. Two of the Alumni Associations current officers, Brian Slattery ’94 Alumni President and Larry Basinski ’70 / Treasurer, welcomed Br. Tim Ahern FSC, Mr. James Logan, Br.Tim Froelich FSC, Sean Gresh, and Br.Robert Schaefer FSC Provincial/Visitor, to the 2025 Hudson Catholic Gala & Hall of Fame Dinner.
The Alumni Association was especially honored to have as their guest Sean Gresh, (former Br. Bernie Gresh) the last living member of the six founding DeLaSalle Christian Brothers from 1964.
We were delighted to celebrate the Lasallian Legacy of Hudson Catholic with representatives of The Brothers of Christian Schools from FSC/DENA; as the school moves forward with its continuing the mission of St John Baptist de LaSalle at the Hawks Nest.
Here in the photograph on the right are the six Founding DeLaSalle Christian Brothers from 1964. On the far right in the photo is Br. Bernie Gresh, now Sean Gresh, who is center in the above color photo from the 2025 Hudson Catholic Gala & Hall of Fame Event.
