HUDSON CATHOLIC IS “50 AND…FOREVER!” GO HAWKS!
A wonderful moment shared by a young Hawk and a couple of "young in spirit" and still faithful Hawks. Bill Cullen, '72 came to the school this past week to personally congratulate Evander Pierre on his track and field accomplishment. Evander Pierre set a new 400 meter record breaking Bil's record which has stood since 1972.
Bill was introduced to Evander by another Hawk track star and our current head coach Gerry McCann, '68. Bill remarked that "It was fun meeting this exceptional young man who is a junior with a 3.6 grade point average."
This is what we will be celebrating in this our Alma Maters 50th year and for many many years to come. Hudson Catholic, 50 and...Forever!
The executive board of the Alumni Association send their thanks to all of this years golfers who stayed and played. In our 21 years of outings we have never had to cancel outright on the day of the event, the weather on June 9th just would not cooperate. Monday June 16th was a beautiful day and there were many smiling faces and laughs shared by all who were able to make the postponed outing that day. It was great to have our Brother Advisor along with Frank Becht sharing the day at Knob Hill Golf Club. Thanks to our Event Sponosor "Turner Construction" for so many years of loyal support for our outing. We hope you all have a great summer and will be here keeping you up on all of the upcoming events planned for the schools celebration of 50 years of "Lasallian Education" in Jersey City. God bless all and enjoy the summer months.
